2. Weak spray pressure

Water pressure is the most important criterion for evaluating the performance of a car wash pump, so if the device reduces the spray pressure, users need to quickly identify the cause and troubleshoot the issue promptly.

* Cause:

- Water filter is loose or dirty, debris, leaking connections.

- Nozzle is worn out

- Air is pumped into the pump

- Piston seal is damaged

- Spray gun is not compatible with the machine

* Solution

- Check, clean the water filter, remove dirt, sand, and tighten the connections.

- If the nozzle is worn out, replace it with a new one to ensure the machine 's operational efficiency.

3. Machine overheats during operation

If a high-pressure car washer overheats during operation and is not promptly addressed, it can lead to more serious malfunctions.

* Cause: It could be due to a burnt motor

* Solution: Check the oil level, replace the oil for the device, and store the industrial car washer in dry, well-ventilated areas to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight.

4. Motor runs but pump head does not operate

* Cause:

- Unstable voltage

- Faulty starting capacitor causing the pump to jam

* Solution

- Check the power source, reconnect if there is a power loss

- Disassemble the pump head, pay attention to disassemble each part in order to avoid losing screws, breaking components... proceed to test the motor, if the motor is still running, then the pump head is definitely stuck.

5. Pressure drop causing water not to spray out

* Cause:

- Dirty water filter, debris

- Worn seals and cushioning components

- Damaged shaft, bearing

* Solution:

Check the filter, clean it thoroughly without leaving any dirt or debris.

- Seals are essential components of the machine and may need to be replaced due to continuous operation and exposure to dirty water, which accelerates wear and tear. If the seals are worn, they should be replaced promptly.

- Disassemble the oil chamber to check the bearing, bearing shaft.

6. Machine experiences reduced pressure during operation

* Cause:

- Nozzle worn out, water inlet/outlet valve worn out, valve clogged with debris, or piston seal worn out.

* Solution: Replace the nozzle, clean and if necessary, replace the water inlet and outlet valves, replace the piston seal if worn out.

7. Pump head temperature is too high

* Cause: The pump is operating at excessively high pressure, the pulley belt is too tight or misaligned, or the connections are misaligned.

* Solution: Adjust the pulley belt and connections to match the original design.

8. Water in oil during machine operation

* Cause:

- The oil seal of the car washer is damaged, the piston guide tube is worn out, or the high air humidity causes excessive water condensation.

* Solution:

- Replace the seal, replace the piston guide tube, and replace the oil.

9. Machine emits loud noise during operation

* Cause:

- Air is mixed into the system, inlet/outlet valve springs are broken or lose elasticity, valves are clogged with debris, bearings are worn out, water entering the pump head is too hot.

* Solution:

- Check the water intake hose for leaks or punctures, if necessary, replace with a new hose, tighten the water fittings, clean or replace the water valves, use water with a lower temperature.

10. Oil leakage from the water drain under the pump head

* Cause: Piston seal is worn out or piston guide tube is worn out, piston is worn out.

* Solution: Check and replace the piston components, piston seal, piston guide tube.

Note: Regularly check, clean, and maintain the car wash machine to ensure its performance and longevity.
