Heating time: The welding machine reaches an operating temperature of 350°C in about 15 seconds, blowing hot air reaches the temperature in about 10 seconds.
Principle of operation of electronic circuit welding function:
1. Warm up:
When the welding machine is powered on, the heating element inside the 908D welding torch (900M welding head type) will start to operate.
24V voltage is supplied to the ceramic heating element, heating it up.
The temperature of the heating element gradually increases until it reaches the set temperature.
2. Maintain temperature:
The integrated temperature sensor inside the heating element continuously measures the actual temperature of the soldering tip.
The machine compares the actual temperature with the set temperature.
If the actual temperature is lower than the set temperature, the machine will provide more power to the heating element to increase the temperature.
On the contrary, if the actual temperature is higher than the set temperature, the machine will reduce the power supplied to the heating element to maintain a stable temperature.
3. Cool (when not in use):
If the automatic shutdown function after a period of inactivity is activated, the machine will automatically reduce the temperature to the set level (usually 200°C).
The soldering tip remains at this low temperature until you start using it again.
Principle of operation of hot air blowing function:
1. Warm up:
When the switch of the hot air blower handle is turned on, the brushless blower inside will start to operate, creating airflow.
The ceramic heating element inside the handle will also be powered.
The airflow passing through the heating element will be heated according to the set temperature.
2. Adjust airflow:
You can adjust the air flow using the adjustment knob on the handle.
Higher airflow is better suited for applications requiring more heat transfer, while a lower airflow is better suited for more delicate components.
3. Automatic cooling and hibernation:
When you place the hot air blower handle into the bracket on the welding machine, the blower will continue to operate but at a lower speed to quickly cool the hot air blower to a safe temperature (about 100°C).
After the temperature drops to the set level, the hibernation function will be activated, automatically turning off the heating element to save energy.
Instructions for using the electronic circuit welding function:
Installing the soldering tip: Install the appropriate 900M soldering tip into the 908D soldering iron and tighten it.
Power on: Turn on the power switch on the welding machine.
Temperature setting: Select the welding temperature appropriate to the type of component and welding material using the temperature adjustment knob.
Wait for heating: Wait about 15 seconds for the soldering iron to reach the set temperature.
Perform soldering operations: Use a soldering iron to melt solder and connect electronic components on the printed circuit board.
Turn off the power (when not in use): If you stop welding for a while, turn off the power to the welding machine to save energy and prolong the life of the soldering tip.

Linstall the air blower nozzle: Install the appropriately sized air blower nozzle onto the hot air blower handle.
Power on: Turn on the power switch on the welding machine.
